Welcome Message

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is with great pleasure and excitement to greet you all with a warm welcome on behalf of the Turkish Chapter of INS to the 4th Joint Congress of the INS European Chapters in the vibrant city of Istanbul. This gathering will mark a significant milestone in our collective and collaborative journey to advance the field of neuromodulation, and we are thrilled to host such a prestigious event in a city that bridges two continents and countless cultures.

Following Nijmegen in 2017, Paris in 2021 and Hamburg in 2023, Istanbul, with its rich history and unique blend of traditions, provides the perfect location for our meeting. As we come together to share knowledge, discuss innovations, and explore new horizons in neuromodulation, I am confident that the dynamic atmosphere of this city will inspire fruitful discussions and collaborations.

The meeting will be held at the Istanbul Congress Center (ICC), located in the heart of the city, within walking distance to cafes, restaurants, and shopping districts. The meeting agenda is filled with insightful presentations, engaging workshops, and opportunities for networking, all designed to develop a deeper understanding of the latest advancements and challenges in the field. I hope you all have the opportunity to actively participate, share your expertise, and take full advantage of learning from one another.

While you immerse yourself in our dense scientific programme, don’t miss the chance to explore Türkiye’s rich history , stunning landscapes and local cuisine. Discover the majesty of Topkapi Palace, the mysterious Basilica Cistern, the iconic Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. I hope you find time to explore and enjoy everything this magnificent city has to offer. Experience the enchanting Bosphorus, the magical hot air balloons of Cappadocia, and the ancient wonders of Ephesus. Enjoy the best of both worlds: science and culture in Istanbul.

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the organising committee, our sponsors, and all the contributors who have worked tirelessly to make this event possible. Your dedication and support are truly appreciated.

Bridging continents; uniting cultures: Shaping the future of neuromodulation in İstanbul. Once again, welcome. We look forward to a successful and memorable meeting that will undoubtedly contribute to the growth and advancement of neuromodulation, and colleagueship in Europe and beyond.

Warmest regards,

Prof. Gül Köknel Talu MD., FIPP
